Featured ProjectNew Construction Site Preparation
4485 Davis Rd, Lake Worth, FloridaThe first stage of any project is fundamental to ensuring the stability and success of the construction. Phase 1, Site Preparation, lays the groundwork for the entire process and includes a series of critical steps:
Soil Study and Evaluation
We begin with a comprehensive analysis of the terrain. This includes a Geotechnical Study to determine the soil composition (clay, sand, rock) and its load-bearing capacity. Additionally, the Water Table (Phreatic Level) is detected to prevent future foundation problems. Finally, Topography measures slopes, elevation differences, and the exact shape of the terrain.
Site Clearing and Preparation
All materials that could interfere with the work are removed: trees, brush, rocks, debris, and organic materials. This stage eliminates any obstacle, natural or artificial, and may require the use of heavy machinery such as backhoes or bulldozers.
Leveling and Layout/Staking Out
The terrain is adjusted to create a uniform and stable base. Subsequently, the project Layout/Staking Out is performed, which involves the precise marking of boundaries, main axes, and the exact foundation points. To optimize water management, it is recommended to establish a slight slope to facilitate rainwater drainage.
Temporary Fencing and Logistics
For safety and privacy, Temporary Fencing is installed around the perimeter of the construction site. This measure is part of the initial logistics that prepare the site for the movement of personnel, equipment, and the formal commencement of foundation work.
